Music Monday | 5.15.17

Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and I got to spend time with my mom shopping for rugs and painting sample panels for her room. Like many others, my mother was very influential in my life. A huge part of that influence was my exposure to music of all genres and artists. My mother listened to some of everything when she was younger, so when she introduced me to her 8-track collection that was just the beginning. First on deck (yes her 8-track player still worked/s) was Jimi Hendrix “Who Knows” with a b-side of “Machine Gun.” We then delved into jazz with the Duke/Clarke Project and some Peter Frampton. So this week’s playlist is dedicated to my mother and the influence she had on my music appreciation.
Here is the list on Spotify.
